Project Overview

On Parr returns to the promenades Martin Parr immortalised, tracing how New Brighton’s humour, grit, and colour have evolved. Brian Ø Hanlon shadowed residents through funfair arcades, windswept terraces, and neon-drenched clubs to build a portrait of contemporary coastal life that nods to the original while feeling defiantly present tense.
